Introduction to the webinterface

In the webinterface, multiple datasets and scenario results can be analyzed and compared. The following screencast provides an introduction to the webinterface, covering all of its elements, buttons and graphs.

Exercises

Excersises to practise the use of Urban Strategy:

  1. Open the webinterface in Edit mode
  2. Open a map layer.
  3. Open two map layers simultaneously
  4. Open and inspect a chart.
  5. Create a new view and try revisiting it from a different position.
  6. Start the Traffic Assignment module.
  7. Change the active scenario with the modules panel open, to check the status of the model per scenario.
  8. Change back to the initial active scenario and close the Traffic Assignment model.
  9. Try closing the webinterface by clicking on the cross icon in the top right of the screen. When the button in the portal is turned back to open, try re-opening the project.
  10. Open the buildings datalayer on a dark background and inspect an item to determine the height of the building.
  11. Open the roads data layer on a grayscale background and try to identify a one way and two-way road by inspecting the link properties. Verify the one-way road with the traffic intensity layer for the dimension Car and dimension Freight.
  12. Select all network elements with a speed higher than 80, using the query selector.
